Welcome to Listie! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Listie mobile application ("App") and related services. By using Listie, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Listie, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Listie is a shopping list application that allows you to:

• Create and manage shopping lists
• Automatically categorize items using AI
• Share lists with family members
• Sync lists across your Apple devices
• Receive smart purchase suggestions

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you may need to sign in with your Apple ID. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Upload malicious content or spam
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Listie and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our permission.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the shopping lists and data you create. By using the App, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

7. Family Sharing

When you share lists with family members:

• They can view, add, and modify items on shared lists
• You can revoke access at any time
• You are responsible for who you invite to share

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services (Apple iCloud, Supabase). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• AI categorizations will always be accurate
• Your data will never be lost (though we take precautions)

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Listie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, without regard to conflict of law principles.
